If you are serious about training for and completing a marathon or half marathon, join the region's premier training program. We have helped over 5,000 runners and walkers reach their goal of finishing a half or full marathon. Our trained coaches have completed over 500 marathons and offer the support and motivation needed to help you reach your goals.

 

Registration for the 2016 Winter/Spring Season of MIT is now open!

 

Our season kicked off December 19th training for the Capital City Half Marathon and spring full marathons! Sign up today to change your life! 

 

Our Summer session will start June 4th and train 18 weeks for the Columbus Half and Full marathons.

 

Registration for Summer will open in April!

Columbus boasts some of the best running events in the country, and the OhioHealth Capital City Half Marathon is the best of the best. Join us as we train like champions, race like champions and celebrate like champions!

No Need To Train By Yourself

Join MIT and train with hundreds of other runners and walkers just like you! We're celebrating 15 years of MIT in 2016 with over 2.9 million miles logged by our participants!!!

Fully Supported Training

Our fully supported training workouts on Saturdays and Wednesdays are complete with water/Gatorade stops along the routes and post-workout recovery food. On site athletic trainer provided by OhioHealth.

A Pace For Everyone

With our 13 marathon and half marathon pace groups, there is a speed suited for every participant - whether this is your first marathon or you're trying to qualify for the Boston Marathon.
