The greatest tour of Columbus on two feet kicks off this Summer as we prepare you to join over 19,000 participants in one of the largest regional celebrations of running and walking. First run in 1980, features a flat, fast course which saw nearly 20 percent of finishers qualify for the Boston Marathon in 2010. The event has sold in mid-August the past eight years. There are 7,000 runners in the full marathon and 12,000 in the half marathon, making it one of the largest running events in the United States. For the third straight year, Nationwide Children's Hospital is the beneficiary of the event. More than $2 million has been raised since 2012.
